Try This
1. Feel dangerous: Take a gun, handgun preferrably, and go to a remote location. Fire off at least 30 rounds in rapid fire succession, targeting or not. You realize quickly that you too, are a dangerous person.
2. Feel brave: Go directly to your boss, friend, whatever, with a problem that you have. Tell them that you're not going to be subject to any bullshit anymore, and that if they want to deal with you at all they will help you find a solution.
3. Be a stranger in your house: Take a book, guitar, pad of paper, etc. - and go to an area of your domain that you never go to. This could mean facing a corner or wall you never look at. Read, play, write, draw, and see what happens. You'll find that you've easily moved yourself "outside the box".
4. Feel like a kid: Put some little cookies or Raspberry Fig Newtons (my current fav) in a little plastic bag and take them with you. Make sure it's not a lot of them, only maybe 3-5 tiny things. Not only when you pull them out for a quick snack do you feel like you're four, but the people around you will look at you like you're the luckiest bastard to have such stashes of treats. Extra points for the balls to exclaim "my mom packed these".
A shout out to Anne: Thanks much for reminding me to blog. I'm heading over to yours to see what in the hell you're up to these days.
