Going to Pachyderm Studio
Tonight at 5:30 I leave for Cannon Falls, MN. I have confirmed that I'll be staying in the "Kurt Cobain Room" there - the one he stayed in during Nivana's recording sessions. The plan is to record me solo tomorrow using a click track, so in the future we can layer drums, bass, lead, etc for a full band sound without us all being there on Wednesday.
I'm supposed to run through my entire catalog of originals to see what works. Some of you may not know that I've got around 15, but most of which I've grown out of. Perhaps they will see potential in them is the point. Anyway, from there these guys will decide after I leave which ones, if any, they feel should go into an album.
I'll be posting pics later this week. If I don't answer my phone tomorrow, I apologize. I don't think its ok to have those in the sound booth.
Thanks to the people that told me I could do this. In all honesty I'm as terrified as I am excited to go and kick some ass.
